It’s more than a mission. It’s a calling and a quest.

In 2015, co-founders Angela Melpolder and Erica Vargas started a local Austin, Texas community called The B Hive Apiary. The purpose of The B Hive Apiary was to help women build better friendships IRL. The community was built on the foundation of connection, intention and integrity. For five years, The B Hive Apiary thrived, but like many in-person businesses, The B Hive Apiary was impacted by Covid-19 and the business was closed in December of 2020.

Over the last 3 years, things have changed. Co-founders, Angela & Erica, began feeling the need for a different type of community. One that enabled women at all levels within their careers and business to find that same sense of community but with a driving purpose.

Being a woman in business or in the corporate world isn’t easy. We still live in a world where we do not get an equal seat at the table, the same funding, the same representation as men across all aspects in business.

But we’re stepping up. We’re kicking through the door and we’re not only encouraging women to shatter the glass ceilings that stand in our way…but we’re teaching them how.

Glass Ceilings is more than just a community for professional women and entrepreneurs. It’s a driving force to help women reach the top without the fluff.
